Where the nights are all the same
There’s someone who lights up my sky
Again and again
As the sun set over Republic City’s Central Park, Tahno bathed in the last of the warm glow. The grass he lay on prickled the strip of exposed skin that his shirt had not covered. He knew it wouldn’t be long before Korra showed up, and he could’ve sworn his heart skipped a beat.
Korra made life different for Tahno, she made it worth getting up in the morning. She was the only one who knew how he was feeling simply by just looking at him and Tahno took comfort in that knowing that she really was unique. He was so grateful of their friendship and late night talks after Korra finished up her daily Avatar training. It was these talks that soothed his broken heart and awakened his spirit that Tahno thought was forever gone since his encounter with Amon.
The sky’s pink glow had faded as day became night and the twinkling stars began their show.
